About me
I'm Hugo, I live near Bordeaux, France. A graduate of the conservatory in classical guitar, holder of a master's degree in Arts & Entertainment specializing in cinema, I produce urban music with multiple influences (Asian music, Jazz, Soul…) and often described as cinematic.

Music genres. Urban music, including Hip-Hop, electronic music. I like very much mixing urban music with jazz, funk, soul and any kind of "vintage" sounds. I also work on epic music for trailers.
I am a cinephile passionate as much by the work of Quentin Tarantino as by those of Takeshi Kitano or Miyazaki.
I was a gamer as a child and I'm still a gamer as an adult! My favourite games probably are Elden Ring, Bloodborne, Bioshock, Final Fantasy VII, Portal II, Ocarina of Time…
Known to the public as SENBEÏ, I am also a member of the projects Smokey Joe & The Kid, Al'Tarba x Senbeï, and Slumb. I have reached over 120 million streams across all projects and platforms. I have generated more than €300,000 in synchronizations (including rights) over the past 5 years for brands such as Nescafé, Ubisoft, Apple, Renault, Netflix and a few corporate projects. To this must be added the income from my work for the music library Premium Beat over the past 15 years: more than €1,000,000 in sales.

I work on a regular basis with a trumpet player, a trombone player and a pianist. Being in the music industry for almost 20 years, I have a very large network of musicians, including female & male vocalists of different types (from jazz to pop but as well rap & reggae) & languages.
